"Nile Valley is a project founded in Porto, active since 2022, formed by Teresinha Sarmento (voice and electronics), Ricardo Martins (bass and fx) and João Pedro Almeida (drums and electronics), and emerges from the desire to explore modern Soul and Jazz sounds. A voice, a bass, and electronics, merge in a wide space to explore, based on compositions that don't tell stories, but only ideas of them.

After the singles "new beginning" and "lighter than thoughts" , Nile Valley released on March 9, 2023, the album "floating lines" with Saliva Diva label, a work entirely produced by the band. In this first album, light and contemplative, but energetic and danceable, many thoughts are exposed, and themes like nostalgia, new beginnings and freedom are present."
