"Silentide is the solo project of João Freitas, musician and producer born in Porto. The artist began his musical journey on classical guitar at the age of 13, but only at 21 decided to embrace music as a professional path.

After years of experience as a guitarist in the band Balter Youth (with an acclaimed debut album in 2020), João Freitas embarked on the world of music production with a degree at ESMAE (Porto), culminating in the opening of a recording studio (Estúdio Cedofeita), where he recorded and produced the debut album, "Self Note", released in February 2023.

Influenced by artists like Thom Yorke, Josin or First Breath After Coma, Silentide's music is a combination of Indie-Rock guitars and vocals with sounds and sampling from Electronics and Ambience."
