"CAN CUN is the band of Bruno André Azevedo, Bruno Coelho and Jorge
Simões, a trio from Vila Real that came together in 2014 to deconstruct a complex imaginary based on synthesizers, riffs, looped rhythms and dreamy melodies. The name suggests landscapes of white sand, clear waters and tropical fauna, and the itinerant sound travels between dream pop and psychedelicism. A kind of mutable nature in its transformative genesis, with roots in the imposing Serra do Marão and horizons that flow into the crystal clear blue of the Pacific Ocean. After releasing, in 2015, their debut EP, "Dancing (on a thin ice dancefloor)", highly acclaimed by critics, in March 2018 they released their first full-length: "Wanderlust". In 2020, they had the addition of Daniela Azevedo on the keys, a line-up that continues to this day."
