"Carlos de Jesus, Carolina Brandão, and Frederico Ferreira are Sunflowers, a band from Porto, in northern Portugal.
For a decade, Sunflowers have emerged from the heart of Porto as a sonic vortex, a collision of raw energy and restless psychedelia, something that can be felt in their music.
In their discography, the band has several albums, the most recent being Endless Voyage (2020), A Strange Feeling of Existential Angst (2023), SFHC 2014-2024 Vol. 1 (2024), and SFHC 2014-2024 Vol. 2 (2025).
The band's music is an invitation to controlled delirium. With distorted riffs that seem to originate from a fever dream, nervous and frenetic rhythms that challenge the listener's emotional balance and stability, and lyrics that hover between the enigmatic and the visceral, whispering secrets and shouting truths, everything is complemented by echoes of garage rock, art punk and noise rock, which merge into a sonic alchemy that is both abrasive and hypnotic."
